The first thing the Surfaces Rx team of woodworking and finishing professionals did when arriving at this Highland Park, Texas home was to prepare and protect the the entry way area by putting down protective barriers, covering hinges, glass and trim with tape and drop-cloths. The next step is to repair any damaged wood and then sand both the interior and exterior of the french doors. Now the doors are ready for us to apply the new stain and then the sealer that locks the stain in.
After the sealer has cured, the door receives the first coat of spar urethane, which is lightly sanded before receiving the final topcoat giving it a beautiful satin-gloss finish. Our last step was reinstalling the door handles and asking the home owner if his newly finished door's wood looks good! He said yes! 5-Stars! .
Surfaces Rx can will bring back the beauty in the wood in your front door using our proven 9-step door-refinishing process. Call (877) 707-7606 today to learn more.
